My adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Mimmi is very spoilt and considers herself head of the family. Her favourite spot is my white sofa which has changed into off-white since she came into my life as a little puppy last summer. She has also tried her best to reshape the filling and the fabric with her small but sharp teeth. A couple of weeks ago I resigned and decided it was time for a new sofa and the hunt began. I started out imagining fabulous pieces from B&B and Cassina but soon narrowed down my choice to three obtainable options; a box shaped sofa from Eilersen designed for the Swedish design brand Svenssons i Lammhult, a sofa from Ihreborn named Cool - and the budget alternative: Quattro from Swedish brand Asko. I looked through lots and lots of fabrics searching for one that could make both black and white fur disappear and that would stand up for a rough treatment. I found the perfect one from the Quattro options; a mottled brownish grey (mole) in cotton/cotton chenille/polyester. Delivery time is around 8 weeks -I'll let you know how it turns out!
