News in my gallery

In my gallery Andyland we have some new limited edition pictures by Tess Jacobsson and Wolfgang Lehmann. Tess Jacobsson works as an illustrator and graphic designer. She founded her own company Tess J Design in 2006 after finishing studies at Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm. Tess Jacobson's images express strong energy and have a romantic feeling. Wolfgang Lehmann is a film maker and artist. His first cinematic efforts were made in 1989. Since 1994 Wolfgang Lehmann has realised and produced his own films, many of which were invited for showings at festivals and art spaces all over the world. In his films Wolfgang Lehmann makes use mostly of documentary material. His works can be characterised by an exact and often rhythmic-like montage, as well as extremely short takes that result in overlapping images.

Gan Rugs

Gandia Blasco is a Valencian design company that has been manufacturing textiles for over 60 years. They are most known for their mainly white, outdoor furniture but over the past few years they have gone back to their textile roots and have produced some intriguing rugs under the brand name Gan. The rugs come in hand tufted and hand knotted varieties, with designs influenced by cultures including Persian, Arabic and Mediterranean. A highlight from this year is the the Mangas collection (fourth from top) by Patricia Urquiola.

Les Chambres

Les Chambres is a new concept store in Stockholm - describing themselves as a place for slow shopping. They combine clothes and accessoires with books, art, flowers, a café and a hair dresser.

Milla Milano

One more baby related post... it is obvious what catches my attention these days! At Rörstarandsgatan in Stockholm there is a sweet shop with baby and children's wear called Milla Milano. Above some photos from the owner's news blog - worth checking out not least for the beautiful pictures of her daughter in clothes from the shop.

Sasha's gifts

My daughter Sasha was born in the beginning of August. There are no words to describe how happy and proud we are and how amazing she is. We have received an incredible amount of beautiful, fun, smart, useful gifts from our friends and family. Sasha is surrounded by such generous and sweet people - from my dear friend Mikael in Paris who made sure Sasha stared her life in style by going crazy at Baby Dior - to my mother who spent innumerable hours knitting exquisite dresses, hats, blankets, cardigans, socks etc.
