This unusual open-air airport is one of the nicest and most comfortable airports I've travelled from - and by far the greenest. It opened in 1989 and was the first airport built by Bangkok Airways. It has received The Environment Impact Assessment Award and Asia Architectural Design Award.

I love this aiport on Koh Samui! I was there some years ago but it now looks even more beautiful.
