Last week I visited Le Rouge, a new restaurant in the Old Town in Stockholm. It’s a really romantic and cosy place in a large cellar designed as a traditional French Moulin Rouge restaurant with a lot of warm colours and heavy fabric. Behind the interior design is the interesting company Stylt. They have designed a lot of hotels and restaurants and they choose to see themselves as scriptwriters and directors in the creation of a new place. They work with the method storytelling and at Le Rouge it really feels like you are in a different time and place.

Very fin-de-siècle decadent. Would love to see more of these types of concept restaurants where the atmosphere is equally important as the cuisine.
