A friend of a friend of mine dealt with her breast cancer in a fantastic way. Victoria Dexback is a Swedish girl who was diagnosed and treated last winter. During her illness she came up with the idea to create a necklace to support breast cancer research. She contacted the designer
Myrica Bergqvist who created DEX, an angular silver heart with a tree shaped hole and a water drop to symbolise life. The though was to create something different than what can already be found on the American market. In Sweden there is only the pink ribbon symbol but no real piece of jewellery. DEX can be worn by anyone, with or without a connection to breast cancer. DEX will be available soon at
Svenskt Tenn.
