de Gournay

The walls in Matthew Williamson's beautiful flagship store on 28 Bruton Street in London (top two images) has hand painted wallpaper from de Gournay. de Gournay is a Brittish company that offers hand painted wallpapers, fabrics and porcelain and has specialised in 18th century Chinoiserie and 19th century French designs. They also specialise in reinterpreting these designs and colours to create a contemporary feel.

Röe gård

On the countryside close to Lysekil (the Swedish westcoast) you find Röe gård, a farm with both a café and a shop. The café has a lot of homebaked fantastic cookies and you pick whatever you want and pay after you have eaten. And the shop has so many cute things, ceramics, wooden toys, soap bars, tea, honey...

Dublin

I spent a few days in Dublin where my sister lives. I love the colourful doors and facades.

Drottningholm

I have holiday in my hometown Stockholm for a few days, doing tourist things. Today a boat trip to Drottningholm, the castle where the royal family lives.

Slacker Chair

I have summer holiday! And when I come back to the office in 4 weeks I want this office chair; Slacker Chair by Marie-Louise Gustafsson (she has by the way designed a lot of funny things like the mobile bathtub, mop flip flop and a table named cosy with a removable mattress)

Carin Wester

It's fashion week in Stockholm and tonight the designer Carin Wester had a public fashion show in Berzelii Park.

Storulvåns fjällstation

Karl and I spent last week-end in the north of Sweden. We stayed at Storulvåns Fjällstation and walked for hours in the mountains.
