I got the red swallow necklace for my birthday and I like it so much. It’s perfect for all my black clothes. The necklace is from the jewellery shop Tatty Devine. They have two shops in London but can also be found in over 100 stockists worldwide. Tatty Devine makes funny and quirky accessories which are sometimes a bit silly but so charming. Norway says

Norway says is a young and hyped design company based in Oslo. The company is run by Torbjorn Anderssen, Andreas Engesvik and Espen Voll. They have won several design prizes the last years and put Norway on the international design map.

LeeAnn Herreid

Being a person with absolutely no sense of direction I especially appreciate the idéa of a compass necklace. But there are many more cute and fun pieces available in LeeAnn Herreid's online store. LeeAnn Herreid studied Jewellery & Light Metal at the Rhode Island School of Design. She graduated in 1991 and two years later she founded her company, Individual Icons. Her work is now available in galleries and museum shops throughout the US and abroad.

Ever since the Stockholm metro was inaugurated in the 1950:s, artists and sculptors have been commissioned to work together with the architects and engineers to make the lower world beautiful. Today the art exhibition is the world’s longest, more exactly 110 km. So far, around 140 artists have created artwork for Stockholm’s subway and another 200 have participated with temporary features.

Ten Swedish Designers (10-gruppen)

I don’t like everything Ten Swedish Designers/10-gruppen do, but I like their new fabric Sticks and Honey a lot. I also attach a picture of their doll’s pram, it’s not new, but so cute and desirable.

Cluster light by Kathleen Hills

These beautiful lamps have clusters of 4, 8, 12 or 16 pendants. The designer is Kathleen Hills who graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2002 and trades under the company name Multi.

Mapei and Scotty the Blue Bunny

This poster by graphic designers Bold Faces made me decide in two seconds to buy tickets to the show Mapei and Scotty the Blue Bunny. Scott Grabell is a burlesque artist from NYC who describes the blue bunny not as a character but as a hyper identity - him but just a little bit more. He was invited to Sweden by some people from Riksteatern, Sweden's national touring theatre, who on a trip to New York last year watched a show with a tall male baby blue bunny and fell in love. They introduced him to freestyle rap artist Mapei and that was the beginning of a wonderful friendship and a stage cooperation. The première of this glamour-see the light-don’t fear the dark-electro-disco-soul show is tomorrow at Kägelbanan in Stockholm.

Helena Hörstedt

Helena Hörstedt is a rising star on the Swedish fashion scene. The label was created after her graduation from Beckmans School of Design, Stockholm, in 2004 and centres around handmade garments with an emphasis on structures, techniques, advanced details and classic tailoring. All her creations are black and she really shows black doesn’t have to be boring (if anyone thought so). Everything is handmade and of course expensive, but every garment is like a piece of art.

Miu Miu and Liselotte Watkins

Miuccia Prada tells Style.com that for Miu Miu's Spring 2008 collection she was thinking about "life as theater, and all the clichés of how people represent themselves in the world." Swedish illustrator Liselotte Watkins was contacted when the design team discovered her illustrations in a book and wanted them for fabrics. In an interview for Swedish Rodeo magazine she says that the collaboration started only ten days before the show, and that she was convinced it wouldn't work out since the time was so tight. But it did - and now seven of her fashionista portraits can be seen on the French maid/Playboy Bunny style super short dresses. Images from Style.com

Marcus Nyblom

Ulrika and I had a fun Friday night starting with a drink with Emma from Emmas designblogg, and Danielle from Style Files and Holly from Decor8 who are in Stockholm this week-end. We then continued to the release party for a book by one of our new artists, Marcus Nyblom. The book Skissbok "sketch book" contains comics and drawings from the last three years. We have chosen four of the cool drawings for our shop.

Missoni Home

I just came across the Misssoni Home website. I'm not crazy about everything but there are some great stripes and zig-zag patterns. Ironically the patterns I like the most from this colourful brand are the black and white ones.

Marimekko umbrellas

A rainy day in Stockholm. I want an umbrella from Marimekko to make these rainy days feel at least a little bit brighter.

FredriksonStallard

Swedish Patrik Fredriksson and British Ian Stallard began their collaboration in 1995 and have since then become internationally recognized for their avant-garde design. The success was a fact when in 2005 they started their joint practice FredriksonStallard and moved into a large studio and gallery in East London. Their conceptual work is sought after by collectors all over the world.
