The swedish design fair Formex started today. The theme for this fair is Celebrating traditions. Most of all I liked the new area Young designer's lounge with young unestablished designers (more images to come). The Formex Formidable award went this year to the company Our children's gorilla for their doll house A-frame. The original a-frame house was designed as a leisure time house by the architect Andrew Geller.

Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign
I love the aristocratic set, the early-seventies feeling, the tweedy midi-skirts, gilets, country-check shirts and printed silk scarves. Dolce & Gabbana

Home
K and I moved to a new apartment in Stockholm in May and were planning to spend the summer renovating and decorating. That didn't happen... Instead, we travelled to friends in Sweden and abroad and enjoyed long lazy days in the sun. Back in Stockholm again I have started to take on some really fun home projects; painting the walls of my studio, planting new flowers in the flower box and building a daybed in the alcove of our livingroom.

Re:form Magazine
Re:form Magazine is a new digital magazine for the design fair Formex. The agency behind it is Ottoboni Group (where I work). In the magazine you can read about trends, look at design products, see intereviews and a lot more. Don't miss the article about Peter Ödegaard where you can look around in his fantastic home.

Cushions by Louise Body
Louise Body received a lot of attention for her wallpaper Erotica from 2007 with Moulin Rouge like girls in various states of undress. In her webshop she also presents printed and hand painted cushions. Vintage fabric and buttons are used on the back along with a small silver embroidered signature.
Marni a/w o8
Marni's Consuelo Castiglioni mixes materials, colours and shapes in an unexpected way in the autumn/winter collection. The result just makes me happy.

Jeff Koons at the Metropolitan
I've just spent a great week in one of my favourites cities: New York. One on the highlights of the trip was spending a late afternoon with a Martini in my hand looking at the Jeff Koons exhibition in the Roof Garden of the Metropolitan Museum.
